In a large bowl over medium heat, add the water and onions to a boil, add the beans, carrots, peanuts or fenugreek, or bay leaves, garlic, cinnamon, cloves and turmeric.
Leave it on the heat for 30 minutes or until the onions are tender, peel the onion pieces, get rid of the peel and mash the onions with a fork, then bring them back to the pan and remove bay leaves.

Bitter gourd :

the Garlic :

Garlic has the same role as onions in fighting diabetes and controlling blood sugar levels.
And it is preferable to eat a lot of raw garlic or after cooking it a little.

Marshmallow :

The wall of marshmallow plant has a high content of soluble vegetable fibers called pectin, which contribute to keeping blood sugar levels low.
There are other good sources of pectin, which are carrot and apple.

Peanuts :

Like other types of beans, it helps to combat diabetes and keeps blood sugar levels low, however it must be taken with care because it contains a high percentage of fat.

Tea :

Indian studies has proven that black tea has anti-diabetic activity and reduces blood sugar levels. And you can add a number of spices that help the body to use insulin effectively, such as laurel, cloves, and turmeric.

Gurmar (Gymnema Sylvestre) :

Gymnema sylvestre is the favorite plant of the Indians for the treatment of diabetics, and four Indian studies have proven its effectiveness, as it increases insulin production in the body.

we can add other plants which have beneficial effects on diabetes, for example: neem, sacred basil, psyllium, ....
